The Brief

LRS approached Make Events to deliver a comprehensive company conference and evening party, requiring full theming, décor, and entertainment. Crucially, their team had not come together in a face-to-face environment since before the pandemic. The primary objective was to pull out all the stops to create an engaging, highly memorable event that would successfully reunite the team after a long period of isolation.

To celebrate the team coming back together in a fun and relaxed environment, we conceptualised and designed a quintessential “British Summer Party” themed event. This concept provided the perfect backdrop for colleagues to reconnect, breaking down the barriers of remote working with a blend of interactive activities, great food, and a celebratory atmosphere, all following a structured daytime corporate meeting.

Make Events fully supported the delivery of the daytime conference, providing expert venue and production management to ensure the business messaging was delivered seamlessly. Once the conference concluded, we transitioned the delegates into the evening party. We brought the British Summer Party theme to life with a variety of engaging lawn games, brilliant live entertainment, and excellent food and beverage options to keep the team celebrating into the night.

The event delivered a fantastic return on investment. Internal feedback from LRS was extremely positive, and the team left feeling fully engaged and motivated for the year ahead. Most importantly, the much-needed opportunity to meet face-to-face again after so long in isolation was gratefully received by all delegates, proving the undeniable power of live events.

A note from our team

“An absolute joy to deliver. We are obsessed with creating spaces where teams can truly let their hair down and bond. Seeing the LRS team finally reunite and celebrate together after all that time apart was incredibly rewarding”
