We design and deliver experiences that connect audiences, inspire action and leave a lasting impression. From global brands to fast-growing businesses, we turn ambitious ideas into exceptional events through bold creative, seamless planning and flawless delivery. For us, every project is personal. Every detail matters. Every event is an opportunity to create something unforgettable.

Make Events began with a simple idea: events should feel extraordinary. What started as a small agency with big ambition has grown into one of the UK’s leading experiential partners, trusted by major brands and loved for our energy, imagination and reliability.

Over the years we have built a team of specialists, expanded our services and delivered events that have shaped moments, cultures and communities. Our story is driven by passion and strengthened by the people who choose to be part of it.

We are focused on expanding our creative capabilities, embracing new technologies and building more impactful event experiences. With sustainability, inclusivity and innovation at our core, we’re shaping the next chapter of Make Events with ambition and purpose.

It’s these people that make the magic happen.

Holly Bennett

Founder & CEO

Founder. Force of nature. Forever curious. Holly has spent over two decades in events and still shows up with the same fire and drive every day. She’s the heartbeat behind Make Events – leading the creative direction of our pitches, shaping our content strategy, and ensuring every touchpoint feels considered and powerful.

She’s all about ideas with impact – because she knows the right event, done right, can change everything. Whether she’s designing a standout experience, championing company culture, or baking (badly but enthusiastically), Holly brings energy, passion and purpose to everything she does.

A lifelong learner and personal development devotee, Holly is currently training to become a certified coach – something she’s pursuing to support her team, her clients, and her wider mission of helping people grow into the best version of themselves. Her shelves are full of journals and books from events like Tony Robbins and Oprah Winfrey, and her mind is always open to what’s next.

Her proudest moments? Watching Make Events grow from a spark of an idea into a thriving business full of brilliant, driven people – and working with her hero Kylie Minogue, whose team later told her they saw the same leadership traits in Holly. We agree.

Joel Bennett

Commercial Director

Part strategic lead, part operations king, Joel brings a calm, considered energy to the business side of Make Events. But don’t be fooled – he’s been in the game for over 10 years, and has delivered some of the biggest, boldest events the agency has ever taken on.

With a background in experiential marketing, Joel thrives on brand activations, live moments, and long-term client partnerships – always keeping things slick, smart, and surprising. He’s big on detail, obsessed with improvement, and highly competitive (especially on the Padel court).

The best bit? Watching the months of planning all come together at a live event.

Heather

Heather Ridge

Head of Events

Heather is all heart, all energy, and all in. As our Head of Events, she’s been building and nurturing long-standing relationships at Make Events for over a decade – making sure every client feels supported, seen, and celebrated, every step of the way.

She’s the ultimate on-site presence – thriving on the buzz, the big reveals, and that magical moment when months of planning come to life. From running around backstage for Kylie Minogue (yes, really) to helping raise serious money for charity, Heather’s seen it all – and still shows up with the same passion and pride.

Known for her positivity, snacks, and very strong Padel game, Heather is also a proud mum of two and lives in the coutryside with over 120 sheep (and counting).

What does she bring? She brings the party, the good times and a decade of ‘Make Way’ experience to everything she touches.

Elliot Garner

Head of Design

From Nike and JD to major conferences and high-pressure briefs, Elliot is the creative calm in the storm. As Head of Design, he leads our content studio – overseeing all the visuals that come through Make Events and ensuring everything looks exceptional, online and IRL.

With over a decade of experience and a background in fast-paced corporate work, Elliot thrives on the diversity of the projects that come through the door – no two days (or briefs) are the same, and that’s exactly how he likes it. The constant variety keeps things fresh, exciting, and full of creative potential.

He brings a cool head, a flexible approach, and a serious eye for detail – whether he’s creating print, digital, or live design collateral. One of his proudest moments? Designing a full screen experience for a retro arcade-themed set – and watching the audience walk in, visibly wowed. (He may be biased, but he reckons conferences are the most rewarding kind of event.)

Katie Enright

Project Director

Katie leads with calm, clarity, and a whole lot of experience. With over 10 years in the industry – and a background delivering creative campaigns for top-tier brands across London and Manchester – she’s known for her ability to take complex, high-impact projects and make them look effortless.

As Project Director, Katie heads up the planning and execution of our larger-scale events – managing teams, timelines, budgets and client relationships from initial idea through to flawless delivery. No two days are the same, and that’s exactly why she loves it.

Katie thrives on brand-led experiential work, and has a special place in her heart for fashion, beauty and lifestyle briefs. Also: if you ever need a deep dive on 2000s pop culture or want to go for a good Sunday roast, Katie’s your woman.

What makes her so good at what she does? A grounded presence in the busiest moments – and the ability to bring clarity, calm and creativity to every brief.

Tim Hoare

Senior On-site Manager

Tim is the calm in the chaos – the first to arrive, the last to leave, and the one you absolutely want by your side when the unexpected happens (and in events, it often does). With over 30 years in the industry – including 13 with Make Events – Tim is the definition of steady hands and sharp thinking.

As our Senior On-Site Event Manager, Tim’s the crucial link between suppliers, venues and our team, making sure every build, de-rig and live moment runs like clockwork. From chartering planes during snowstorms to rescuing vans from grassy verges, he’s seen it all – and somehow, still makes it fun.

He’s known for winding people up, lifting the heavy stuff, and always being up for a laugh – but don’t let that fool you. He’s got a golf handicap of +4 and a knack for finding solutions when it matters most.

One of his wildest event memories? Battling snowstorms during the Beast from the East, with 250 guests stranded in Ireland – no speakers, no way home… but still, a successful event.

Grace Cooper

Senior Project Manager

Grace is our calm in the chaos – a Senior Project Manager who thrives on problem-solving, clear communication, and making sure every detail (and every person) is taken care of. With eight years’ experience, she’s worn many hats – always displaying a friendly, positive approach – and knows how to juggle the moving parts of big, complex events without ever losing her smile.

Grace is always ready with a plan (and a backup plan or two) to keep everything running smoothly. She especially loves working on spectacular incentive trips and memorable product launches, where the pace is fast and the creativity is high.

Grace’s global outlook sets her apart – after living in India, Argentina and Spain, she’s built communication skills that transcend borders and created trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, and teams all over the world. Her priority has always been those around her, both professionally and personally.

Outside of work, you’ll find her in her walking boots researching the best roast dinners in the countryside with her puppy, rain or shine.

Her favourite quote? “No rain, no flowers” – a motto that perfectly sums up her outlook on putting in the hard work and effort to bloom.

Adele Andrews

Finance Manager

Adele is an organised and process-driven professional who thrives on detail and is deeply committed to being a collaborative team player. She is the person who ensures our creativity is backed by financial clarity and robust financial control. A Chartered Accountant with over a decade of experience that spans five years in audit and further time in senior finance roles within the fast-paced FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors. Adele is an expert at turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Beyond her professional life, Adele has a passion for travel and has spent time living and exploring across the globe, including New Zealand, Canada, and throughout Asia, which has shaped her broad and adaptable perspective.

Outside the office, Adele lives in the countryside with her husband and two young boys. Whether she’s exploring the great outdoors or managing a busy household, which is about to get even livelier with a new puppy on the way, she brings that same organised, energetic approach to everything she does, making her a perfect fit for the fast-paced world of events.

Maiya Dambawinna

Project Manager

Maiya brings thoughtful energy, creativity, and calm confidence to every brief she touches. As a Project Manager, she takes events from initial concept through to live delivery — working closely with clients and collaborating across creative, operational and venue-finding teams to turn ideas into seamless, standout experiences.

With three years in the industry, Maiya has already worked across a wide range of corporate events, from private dinners and meetings to overseas incentives and large-scale conferences for clients in media, tech, real estate and law. She thrives in the detail, loves the complexity of conferences in particular, and is at her best when all the moving parts come together onsite.
One true “pinch me” moment? Running the very first corporate event at Kensington Palace’s Orangery following its seven-year restoration — an experience that perfectly sums up what she loves most about events: seeing the culmination of teamwork, trust and collaboration come to life, and watching clients step into a moment they’ve helped shape.

Maiya is known for her proactive, problem-solving mindset, confident stakeholder management and steady onsite presence. In 2025, she was named a winner of the Tomorrow’s Talent Award, recognising the ambition, drive and potential she brings to the future of the industry.

Outside of events, Maiya is an internationally published poet, runs her own poetry podcast, and is a self-confessed bookworm with a Master’s degree in Literature. Weekends are for yoga classes, discovering new food spots and coffee shops around London, cinema trips with extra popcorn — and the occasional spontaneous adventure.

Chris Moore

Senior Graphic Designer

Design that lands. Ideas that stick. That’s Chris all over.

With three years in events – and a career that’s dipped into everything from fashion photography to medical branding – Chris brings a seriously diverse skillset to the studio. He’s all about creating visuals that are impactful, memorable, and bang-on for clients who want to show their brave, playful side.

For him, the buzz is seeing it all come together on event day – the moment where design, production and energy collide. Calm under pressure, creative when it counts, and always exploring fresh ways to tell a story.

Outside of work? You’ll probably find him wandering somewhere new – city streets or countryside trails – or with a spray can in hand. He’s been painting street art for almost 25 years, adding colour and character to unexpected places.

And if you’ve guessed his age, chances are you’re wrong.

Tan Nguyen

Senior Graphic Designer

Tan is the creative problem-solver behind many of the visuals that bring our events to life. As Senior Graphic Designer, he transforms ideas into memorable event identities – taking the time to understand the brief, ask the right questions, and make sure the final design looks exactly how the client imagined it.

Although Make Events is his first dedicated role in the events industry, Tan brings years of experience designing for large-scale corporate projects, including company galas for more than 500 attendees. Whether he's creating print, digital or motion graphics, he loves pushing ideas across different formats and isn't afraid to learn something new if it helps deliver the best result.
For Tan, nothing beats seeing people's reactions when the work finally comes to life. One standout moment was seeing his artwork displayed on the huge electronic billboard outside Victoria Warehouse – Europe's second-largest outdoor screen – a proud reminder of the impact great design can have.

Away from the studio, Tan swaps his Mac for a climbing wall. He's been bouldering for over a decade, has attended the Climbing World Cup, and has even entered national competitions (although he'll quickly tell you they let anyone enter). When he's not climbing, you'll usually find him exploring somewhere new with his two young sons, camera in hand, capturing the moments that matter. His favourite motto? Work hard and be nice to people.

Sam Cripps

People & Culture Manager

Sam is a passionate people professional with a broad background spanning recruitment, talent development, culture and engagement. With a genuine love for creating thriving work environments, she joined the team to ensure our people feel supported, inspired and empowered to grow.

Sam knows that when your culture is strong, your output is even stronger.

Her mission? To keep our team happy, engaged and performing at their best – so we can keep delivering standout experiences for our clients.

Rebecca Denton

Project Executive

Becky thrives on creativity, collaboration, and a good challenge. As an Event Production Executive, she works across a mix of projects and ensures every detail is organised and every experience runs seamlessly.

With six years in the events industry, Becky loves the hustle and bustle of the job, spinning many plates at once and seeing the results of her hard work come to life. She’s drawn to events that push boundaries and leave a lasting impression, combining her organisational skills with a knack for creative problem-solving to deliver truly memorable moments.

Known for her positivity, energy, and team-first approach, Becky brings enthusiasm, adaptability, and a smile to everything she does. She thrives in collaborative environments, building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and external specialists alike.

Outside of work, Becky is passionate about travel, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and enjoying weekends that mix countryside walks, socialising with friends and family, retail therapy, and cozy nights in with a good murder mystery book.

Meredith Bloom

Creative Director

With over 14 years of experience, Meredith brings her creative energy and big-picture thinking to Make Events, leading the way in crafting unforgettable brand experiences.

Having studied Set Design for Stage and Screen, she blends imaginative storytelling with strategic insight, shaping concepts that not only look beautiful but truly connect with audiences. Her passion for interior design also shines through in her work, giving every event a thoughtful and stylish edge. Meredith’s approach is rooted in research, strategy and a love of storytelling – because the best experiences don’t just look good, they spark conversations and leave lasting memories.

Her favourite part of the job? Watching ideas come to life – seeing audiences immersed in the moment and knowing that every project starts as a blank page ready to transform into something extraordinary. No two events are ever the same, and that’s exactly what keeps her inspired.

Ella Gatto Wright

Project Executive

Ella is all about passion, precision, and making things happen. As an Events Executive, she supports the team across a wide range of projects – from managing her own events to handling the moving parts behind the scenes. She thrives on collaboration, clear communication, and the satisfaction of bringing a client’s vision to life, start to finish.

Whether it’s updating budgets, liaising with suppliers, or brainstorming ideas that elevate an experience, Ella approaches everything with drive, organisation (her drawers are next-level tidy), and a whole lot of heart. She’s always up for a challenge – especially when it comes to pushing her creative side and making things stand out from the crowd.

One of her proudest moments? Delivering an unforgettable incentive trip at just 21 – and hearing the client say it was the best they’d ever had.

Connie Sue Bennett

Events Assistant

Connie is the driving force behind founder Holly's day-to-day world, supporting strategic projects, creative campaigns and the four connected businesses that make up the wider Make family. As Events Assistant, no two days are the same – one moment she's helping shape new ideas, the next she's bringing them to life behind the scenes.

What Connie loves most about events is turning a simple concept into an unforgettable experience. She thrives on the people side of the industry too, building relationships, bringing people together and creating moments that leave a lasting impression long after the event has finished.

One project she'll never forget was collaborating with Disney and Selfridges to launch an interactive in-store experience where children could take part in Disney West End workshops. It was the first time she'd led a concept from idea to execution, and watching attendance grow week after week as the experience gained momentum made all the hard work worthwhile.
Drawn to luxury brands and fashion events, Connie brings an infectious energy and a fresh perspective to the team. She believes the best ideas come from happy, collaborative environments, and loves encouraging creativity in the people around her.

Outside of work, Connie's either creating lifestyle content, baking, exploring with friends and family, or planning her next weekend escape. She also has a background in musical theatre after studying in Barcelona, is returning to the stage to perform in Frozen, and can happily rap her way through Hamilton if the opportunity ever arises.
