To celebrate the fun-loving spirit of Squashies, we teamed up with Swizzels to deliver a vibrant, interactive activation that captured attention and drove engagement. The result was a memorable brand experience that proved so successful it was rolled out time and time again.

The Brief

As the official sweets supplier to Co-op Live, Swizzels wanted to bring the Squashies brand to life across a wide demographic at the arena, one of the most sought after entertainment venues in the UK.

The task was to design and create a memorable activation that enticed people to engage with it, interact with the brand ambassadors, and sample the product. The target was to deliver 70,000 samples to guests attending a variety of gigs and shows at the arena over a 2 week period.

We designed a fully branded activation that immersed guests in the joyful world of Squashies. At the heart of the experience was a giant Squashies beanbag sofa, creating a relaxed, playful space where visitors could unwind, enjoy the sweets, and capture shareable moments. To increase engagement, we added an interactive prize wheel, giving guests the chance to win a range of exciting rewards.

The activation was brought to life with bold Squashies branding and a clear focus on guest interaction. From the oversized beanbag photo opportunity to the prize-winning mechanic, every element was designed to be inviting, fun, and easy to engage with ensuring strong footfall and dwell time throughout the activation.
