The Brief

Clearwater asked Make Events to design and deliver a memorable away day incentive for their UK team. The experience needed to feel rewarding and exclusive, combining overnight accommodation with a well-balanced programme of activities that encouraged team connection, relaxation, and fun. While European destinations were considered, the final requirement was a standout UK location.

We created a bespoke 2 night incentive set within the stunning grounds of Whatton Hall. By securing exclusive use of the estate and incorporating high-quality glamping accommodation, we delivered a premium yet relaxed experience. A carefully curated agenda blended energising group activities with generous downtime, allowing guests to both reconnect as a team and fully unwind.

Make Events managed the experience end-to-end, from creative concept and event design to a bespoke guest registration platform and full on-site event management. The expansive grounds enabled a varied programme including a GPS scavenger hunt, giant inflatable assault course, yoga and bootcamp sessions, al fresco dining, and a silent disco finale. Three full days of sunshine provided the perfect backdrop, elevating the overall guest experience.

The away day incentive was a resounding success, delivering a highly memorable experience that strengthened team bonds and rewarded guests in a unique setting. The seamless delivery, diverse activity programme, and exclusive venue combined to create an unforgettable incentive that reinforced Clearwater’s commitment to their team.
