Wood, First Street – Perfect for private dining
Wood’s aim is to bring non-intimidating high end dining to the Manchester food and beverage scene. They bring together passion, creativity and powerful flavours and deliver it in a playful way.
Book out their private dining room, which is located on the mezzanine level overlooking the restaurant and expect bold, authentic flavours. Your host will guide you through the 7-course tasting experience whilst you sit back and enjoy the experience and company. Minimum 12, Maximum 20 people.
D & D London’s new opening – Perfect for private dining or a corporate party
Michelin-starred restaurant operator D&D London has confirmed plans to open a rooftop restaurant and garden terrace in Spinningfields.
The as-yet unnamed venue will be situated on the top floor of the 19-storey No. 1 Spinningfields tower being built in Hardman Square, and will be an entirely new brand for the restaurant group and perfect for corporate events.
Towering 100m above the ground, the 9,500 sq ft space will boast a ‘substantial’ outdoor terrace with panoramic views over the city, which developer Allied London is billing as ‘Manchester’s most glamorous operation yet’.
The Cellars at King Street Townhouse – Perfect for an incentive or private dining
King Street Townhouse have transformed their unique listed cellar into an exclusive private dining space and luxurious screening room. This historic intimate space has beautiful interiors which includes a vaulted brick ceiling.
The Wine Cellar is an intimate space that hosts up to 14 guests for a 5-course tasting menu. King Street Townhouse are partnering with George Bergier, Chairman of the Guild of Sommeliers and Consul of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, to enhance their private dining experience even more.
Adjacent to the private dining room is The Screening Room; an impressive 20 seater luxury private cinema with state of the art screen and sound system, sofa seating and ambient lighting; ideal for corporate or private hire incentives. See more incentive ideas here.
Etc. Venues on Portland Street – Perfect for a conference or award ceremony
Situated on the 8th floor of 11 Portland Street, Etc. Venues have fantastic views across the city and an abundance of natural light. Their 15 rooms are ideal for meetings, training events, conferences or award ceremonies. The rooms can be dressed up the way you want and are perfect for intricate theming. Dirty Martini – Perfect for team building or a corporate party
Opening on 10th November, Dirty Martini will have glamorous interiors, late night party DJs and beautiful bespoke martinis and cocktails. With a capacity of 400 and private areas, it’s the perfect venue for cocktail masterclass or a corporate party. See more team building ideas here.
Mahiki – Perfect for a corporate party
Known as the place to be in London, Mahiki have recently opened a northern branch in our home of Manchester. This tiki bar is celebrated for its award winning cocktails, unique experiences and unparalleled fun. Split into two rooms, this next-generation Tiki concept promises to bring an essence of the 1950s Polynesian Tiki bars to the city.
Their cocktail lounge area will be open daily from 5pm, but after dark is when Mahiki truly comes to life. Known for drawing members of the royal family, a-list celebrities and movie stars, expect to find a few famous faces sipping on a cocktail at the bar sometime soon.
