Matillion approached us to produce a multi-day conference, awards and party for their international workforce, having grown by an additional 300 employees from their last in person event in 2019. The challenge was to help create and reinforce company culture on a workforce who have largely only known each other remotely. Additionally we were asked to help them celebrate the success of the previous year whilst setting out the strategy for the year ahead.
We produced an exciting and engaging event, with an exceptional line up of speakers including an astronaut, former SBS Sergeant, Olympic gold medallist and a philanthropist and charity founder. We supported with all elements of the event with high attention to detail, ensuring the delegate journey was engaging and personal at all times.
This included an app and web platform with personalised agendas and notifications, exciting and varied activities throughout the week, and exceptional delegate management and service from the Make Events team on site. The event consisted of conference content for 3 days, on and off site teambuilding activities, merchandise, hybrid solutions for those unable to attend in person, a quiz show, awards ceremony and a party.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
The widespread feedback from delegates has been overwhelmingly positive, with countless posts made publicly on LinkedIn along with exceptional feedback delivered internally. All delegates have felt incredibly motivated and engaged with the business and there is already excitable talk regarding the event repeating. The exec team have also shared hugely positive feedback with Make Events and found it to be a great success.
