CHALLENGES
Following a successful year post-merger, Fox’s Burton’s Companies challenged us with creating an event for 300 of their mid and upper management team members. The purpose of this event was to share news, views and figures from the year just gone, to set out their plan for the next 12 months and beyond, to introduce new internal brand values after their acquisition by Ferrero, and to throw their team an amazing Christmas party, as a thank you for all their hard work throughout 2023.
SOLUTIONS
We provided end-to-end project delivery, taking complete ownership of every element of the event, working closely with FBCLeadership to ensure it looked, sounded, and felt like a Fox’s Burton’s Companies conference.
Utilising their recently produced brand guidelines, we created an event ID and tagline ‘Our Time Is Now’, that not only glued the whole look and feel of each touch point together, but also reinforced their message of now being the time to move forward with great success, as one complete entity.
To ensure the event had the wow factor, it was held at Manchester’s iconic Victoria Warehouse and every skillset within our talented team was utilised to the fullest. Our Design, Creative and AV departments worked seamlessly together to create all things visual; a impactful stage set, engaging video and speaker content, and digital and printed branding, giving FBC a real sense of ownership of the venue for the event duration.
Our Venue team met the challenge of arranging accommodation for 300 people during the busy Christmas period (not to mention the Chanel fashion show and the travel restrictions due to rail strikes), head on.
And our Project Management, Production and Strategy teams worked tirelessly with FBC to create a clear picture of messages to be communicated throughout the seven-hour conference, as well as structuring the perfect running order to ensure maximum engagement over the course of the day.
During the two-hour turnaround from conference close to the party starting, we transformed the whole space into a Winter wonderland, as we created the FB-Ski Aprés Ski resort. The venue was dressed with trees, snowflakes, lodges and sledges, resulting in a room fit for the perfect Christmas party.
After recognising some of their longest serving members of the business, guests enjoyed a three-course meal, before being entertained by a live band, segway skiers, a VR sleigh ride, a crepe station, and their very own Aperol Spritz bar and branded deck chair area.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
The event was a roaring success, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from delegates on the day.
