We worked with Citation on their first event post covid, with the largest number of attendees to date there still remained a little hesitancy around COVID and having a large number of people in one space.
As a repeat client of ours, we know that the party theme is always key and needed to have a strong presence throughout every touch point.
SOLUTIONS
Setting the tone with edible lollipop desk drop invites ensured a subtle nod to the theme but helped build excitement around party plans!
To ensure that everyone felt at ease, we decided to utilise the entire space to allow for more spacing between guests, activations and queue management. In doing so, the layout was key, we didn’t want guests to feel lost in a large space so strategic prop placement, catering stations, multiple bars and activations spaced around helped give an inclusive feel for all.
Keeping the theme sweet – Upon arrival guests were greeted by candy cane stilt-walkers who mix and mingled with guests for photo opps! It’s raining hundreds and thousands giant balloon hoop installs filled the ceiling, we had a gum-ball pit, giant nutcrackers framing the stage set, clusters of pastel props – lollipops, donuts, sweets, macarons and a bespoke 3d photo backdrop – for the sweetie snaps! Edible activations including, candyfloss whizzer and even edible balloons complimented the brightly coloured bowl food! And the cherry on top – live DJ, Sax and percussion warm up followed by the RPJ Band!
