CLIENT BRIEF
Vita Student asked us to deliver their first Big Talks event since the pandemic—a live, on-site experience designed to inspire and motivate university students living in Vita accommodation. The aim was to provide valuable industry insights, with a focus on career development and future opportunities. The challenge was to transform a communal lounge into a professional yet welcoming event space that balanced learning and atmosphere.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
We repurposed the Central Manchester Vita lounge into a polished event setting, using strategic layouts, branded staging, and gobo projections to maximise the space. The evening began with a Prosecco and canapé reception, setting a relaxed but elevated tone for the guests.
The headline speaker was Sally McBeth, Head of Product at the BBC, who delivered a keynote followed by a Q&A session focused on career paths and insights into the media industry. The setting encouraged interaction and engagement, and the students left with both inspiration and practical advice.
