The Make Events Show communicates the potential of a virtual experience!

Manchester based events agency, Make Events will showcase the power of virtual events and branded gift experiences through their own event, The Make Events Show on 26th March 2021.

BBC Morning Liveโ€™s Gethin Jones will co-host the event with Make Events CEO and Founder, Holly Moore, the afternoon will include appearances from Denise Van Outen, Dr Ranj Singh and Vernon Kay along with marketing and events experts.

Moore says: โ€œWith news of restrictions lifting there is still a nervousness about people coming together in large groups so virtual experiences and branded gifting are still going to play a big part in the marketing world.

โ€œBrands have missed being able to get their goods in customers hands particularly in the FMCG and handheld devise market, but with social distancing concerns and the threat of cross contamination there will still need to be alternatives going forward.โ€

During the pandemic Make Events have produced virtual events for AutoTrader, SIG, Hitachi Rail and INEOS Grenadiers and produced branded gift experiences for brands such as Kelloggโ€™s, Lucozade and Penguin. They see this trend continuing well in 2021.

The event will be hosted from The Studio. A purpose built, 230m2 black box studio space with a vibrant LED screen backdrop for crystal clear presentations.

Gethin Jones said: โ€œIโ€™m chuffed to bits to support my good friend Holly Moore. Like so many, the events marketing industry was hit so hard. Holly has been a leading light in not giving up, and pivoting. Excited to be involved to showcase how you can adapt your events into the new worldโ€ฆโ€

Moore continued: โ€œWe want to showcase how exciting and engaging a virtual event can be. There will be high energy to show the possibilities to companies who are considering creating these experiences to their customers.  A select number of guests will also receive a curated box with gifts to enjoy alongside the event.โ€

Make Events will also be raising money for FareShare during the show, the charity brought into the spotlight in 2020 by the campaign by Manchester United footballer, Marcus Rashford.

The company announced the event via an โ€œeverything goes wrongโ€ spoof video call from the Make Events Conference Committee. Jackie Weaver moment included! Watch the video here.

Over the last year, Make Events has seen their virtual event offering increase in demand and the company responds to their client needs with the creation of new products and services including studio and remote virtual events, a content studio offering graphic design, branded printing, video creation and photography, expanded their prop shop, created a bespoke gift box solution and re-branded its sister company, HM Events, offering private parties.
