As Cheshire based agency, Make Events continue on their growth trajectory and settle into a new HQ, House of Make in Wilmslow, they are delighted to announce a restructure in line with the growing needs of the business.
At their inaugural employee engagement conference Let’s Grow 2019 – Founder and Managing Director Holly Moore encouraged the team to create their own success (see below). Following the conference, the team proactively shared how they would like to be involved in the business as it grows.
So, when looking at a reorganisation Holly Moore decided to promote and develop internally.
Helina Thompson has been promoted to Head of Events. Since joining Make Events over a year ago, Helina has been instrumental in her role as Senior Creative Producer, creating incredible events for clients such as Tatti Lashes and Allied London. Helina will now manage the event design and delivery team.
Heather Ridge has been promoted to Senior Events Producer. Heather has been with Make Events for 4.5 years and is recognised as an integral part of the team, developing and growing successful client accounts in her previous role as Events Producer; such as LNER; Autotrader and SIG Distribution.
Emily Hume is promoted to Events Producer after a year in a secondment role as Events and Marketing Assistant, owning all of our internal and client marketing events. Emily came to Make Events as Events Assistant and has grown in the two years by building client relationships and developing her creative eye with clients such as Sports Tours International and Radius Payment Solutions.
As part of this continual growth Make Events are recruiting a Finance Assistant; Head of Venue Finding Sales and a further Senior Events Producer.
Commercial Director of Make Events, Alex Morrisroe, said: “Make Events is a special place to work, so promoting internally means our values stay intact and we truly do practise what we preach. Our own employee engagement conference encouraged the team to take control of their own development and by doing so have been considered for these opportunities.”
