CHALLENGES
Vimto approached Make Events to support them on their all-employee conference. Their vision was to create a forward-thinking environment that was inspiring and engaging for their 300 guests. They had planned to organise the event and content internally but as time moved on they didn’t feel they could get the results they wanted on time.
SOLUTIONS
Make Events managed the conference and gala dinner, theming, staffing and conference content, keeping it consistent and on brand. Our first job was to assist with the content and one of our designers worked from Vimto’s offices to create their slide deck and help create the content. We created a stage set with white industrial cages and a neon Vimto sign. This was heightened for the gala dinner in the evening, adding LED batons. A bespoke made photobooth with a 4ft Slush cup and a branded shopping trolley and disco balls was also made for guests to pose with.
Vimto launched a new internal system at the conference which we loaded onto iPads on each of the tables so that delegates could get familiar with it and use it to send communications up to the main screen. For the gala dinner we installed a white branded dancefloor and made cocktails that had a Vimto twist – The 1908 and Vimtini. We did a prior menu tasting to ensure the Vimto theme ran throughout.
