Success Charity approached Make Events to create a virtual conference for survivors of childhood brain tumours. This is an annual conference that is usually held in London for one day.
The aim of the conference was to provide a platform for the children to speak about their illness whilst broadcasting engaging content and debates.
Make Events created a bespoke microsite to their brand guidelines with the live stream embedded. The website also housed the agenda, speaker bios, live chat and all of the on-demand downloadable content.
Each content piece was pre-recorded at 15 minutes to ensure the audience would engage, with a live debate following and a host to bring each piece together. All speakers were brought in remotely to ensure a COVID safe environment.
Make Events created challenges and broadcast musicians who support the charity, to keep the audience at home entertained during conference breaks.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
Polls were running throughout the day, which enabled the charity to calculate a return on investment. Make Events are currently editing a short video of the event that the charity can use for marketing purposes.
