Radius approached Make Events to produce their all-employee 30th Anniversary party. This was going to be the biggest celebration they’ve ever done as a company and staff would be attending from across the globe.
SOLUTIONS
Make Events took complete ownership of the delegate registration and transport. With 45% of attendees coming from overseas (including Kuala Lumpur, USA, Germany and Spain), we allocated a dedicated team to the guests for continual communication.
Make Events managed the venue find for the event and proposed Manchester Central due to its capacity allowance and city centre location.
Dermot O’Leary was chosen to host, and Jamie Cullum performed a private concert for the guests. The idea was for the event to feel like a live music concert. Therefore, investment was made in high quality lighting and sound to ensure elevated music performances. Digital screens surrounded the stage with a live feed of the entertainment to reflect a TV talent show stage.
Make Events designed all of the on-screen content which worked to get the crowd excited with X Factor-esque announcements before the entertainment walked on stage. The central stage was also utilised throughout dinner to engage the crowd. Make Events managed the games including ‘Beat the Boss’ where guests had the chance to win the CEO’s own money!
