CHALLENGES
UK version of their 360 global event which is held in Germany; the brands within PUMA all get together from overseas to kick off for the season ahead. The event starts with a fashion show of the next season’s collections and presentations from the brand leaders.
In the evening, a party is held to celebrate their successes from the previous season whilst it also being a chance for overseas staff to network with the UK team. Puma has approached Make Events to produce the last five events, which included sourcing a venue, models for the fashion show, AV, logistics, catering and
entertainment. This allowed Puma to concentrate on the business update content.
SOLUTIONS
Make Events chose Fairfield Social Club to house the event, a warehouse on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, selected as we knew Puma wanted something urban, unpolished and alternative.
As it is such a blank canvas, the challenge was that all AV, heating and catering had to be brought in. The theme was neon 90s; we filled the room with neon furniture and games, LED wristbands that simultaneously lit up and lined the stage with LED strips. The DJ booth was lit up with LED strips and neon dancers roamed the room, mixing with guests. Food stalls were also themed to the 90s with a giant ghetto blaster dispensing beefburgers!
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
Make Events elevated the event by ensuring everything worked with their theme and vision for the day. LED batons hung from the ceiling and flashed the same colour as the wristbands and other accents across the room, making the whole event feel really inclusive.
