The Brief

Osborne Clarke hired Make Events to create an immersive “Into the Wilderness” summer festival for over 800 employees at Wasing Park, complete with high-energy entertainment, themed decor, and a surprise DJ performance. Despite national rail strikes and Glastonbury weekend, Make Events successfully managed all event design, supplier logistics, hotel bookings, and coach transportation.

Make Events brought the “Into the Wilderness” theme to life at Wasing Park with custom foliage-wrapped staging, full venue dressing, and a surprise headlining performance by DJ Roger Sanchez. They also handled end-to-end production, supplier management, and all overnight accommodation and coach logistics to navigate national rail strikes smoothly.

Make Events executed full production and supplier management on-site at Wasing Park, encompassing bar, catering, entertainment, and health and safety in an outdoor environment. To tackle national rail strikes, they coordinated parking, coach transport for 800 delegates, and 600 hotel bookings across 9 Reading locations.
