Kellogg’s – Sales Incentive

CHALLENGES

Make Events were tasked with finding a unique location for a once-in-a-lifetime overseas sales incentive for 70 of Kellogg’s employees; to celebrate the end of a supply chain project with Pringles after it was purchased by Kellogg. As the event was held in Dubai there were challenges with suppliers in terms of reliability and price.

SOLUTIONS

The day started with a conference at the exclusive Dubai Yacht Club. Delegates were then handed bespoke branded passports to get onto a private boat, which was curated so that the guests thought they were on a sight seeing boat. They were very surprised when they pulled up to a private island. Every moment of their experience was choreographed, from branded towels by the pool to a bespoke GPS treasure hunt around the island. 

As the sun set on the other side of the island, a secret stage popped up to host the evening’s award ceremony. A fully branded AV production featuring video messages from distributors around the world provided the full Kellogg’s experience; followed by an island party late into the night. Make Events shipped over goods from the UK which mitigated any problems with suppliers. Make Events procured a local AV company but took a member of their technical team to check the quality of the equipment and technicians.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT

The team felt rewarded for the hard work that had taken place to finish the project. They felt motivated and engaged to now make the project operational.
