CHALLENGES
John West approached us to deliver a one-day business conference combined with an evening celebration in Liverpool for their UK, Ireland and Netherlands colleagues. The challenge was to announce business updates for the year, deliver company awards, and announce exciting future partnerships for the first time post-pandemic, in a different and less corporate way. Delegates should come away understanding the new brand positioning and the role they play as part of the company, feel respected and valued in their role, feel part of one team and understand the benefits of working ‘Stronger Together’.
SOLUTIONS
We produced an exciting and interactive conference, with business update presentations delivered by the Executive Team, and an introduction to the exciting new partnership between John West and Paralympics GB, announced with a Q&A session with Paralympic gold medallist, Kadeena Cox OBE. Delegates then moved into a number of engaging breakout sessions, including a hurling demonstration and a super exciting wheelchair basketball demonstration where delegates worked in teams and got into the competitive spirit!
Delegates then came back together for closing remarks, and were surprised with a drumming team building session, in which a band of highly-skilled facilitators taught the crowd to perform an epic musical arrangement. Finally, everyone was led into the evening party complete with an open bar, delicious street food vendors, giant interactive games and a live drumming band performance, before hopping on the coaches back to the office!
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
The widespread feedback from delegates has been extremely positive, with great feedback delivered internally. The Executive team have also shared fantastic feedback with Make Events and found it to be a great success, which will likely be repeated next year!
