CHALLENGES
Make Events were tasked with producing ITV’s Summer Talent Parties held at The Ivy Roof Garden in Manchester, and The Ivy Restaurant in Leeds with x200 guests attending each event. Hosted by the Head of ITV in the North, the event was a chance to celebrate ITV’s on-screen talent, attended by the casts of Coronation Street and Emmerdale, ITV commissioners and ITV leadership team, directors, writers, production and crew and the award winning content they are part of. The client were determined to make this year’s parties bigger than ever, helping to set the tone for a big year ahead for ITV for both their on screen talent and internals.
SOLUTIONS
To complement the abundance of florals, foliage and colourful fabrics at The Ivy, Make provided tropical-themed styling including a branded live foliage wall complete with vibrant neon baton lighting which made for a cool and striking photo moment, structured tropical floral arrangements, garlands and table centrepieces, mood lighting and additional AV, vinyl branded touches, poseur tables, bespoke printed menus and branded cocktail napkins, and plenty of instagrammable photo opportunities woven throughout the venues.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
The ITV Summer Party is a high profile annual event which generates a great deal of publicity for the brand. Make Events provided styling elements which uplifted and complemented the venues, and provided memorable moments for guests to interact with and enhance their event experience.
