CHALLENGES
Our challenge was to create an event that focused predominately on brand ambassadors and their experiences with Garmin products, as well as a clear focus on female health and wellbeing, with the event to be held in Central London.
SOLUTIONS
As this event focused on brand ambassadors, we created the theme ‘Faces of Garmin’. This was designed to have a portrait gallery feel to it, and the selected venue, Somerset House, complemented that perfectly. Anna Woolhouse and Iwan Thomas served as hosts as they interviewed Ant Middleton and Ben Foster, before inviting Dr. Zoe Williams, Katie Piper and Alex Greenwood to the stage to discuss women’s health and wellbeing. In addition, the room was decorated in large scale print to enhance the theme, as well as having some of Garmin’s most popular, and newest products on display on gallery style plinths.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT
With near 250 buyers and partners in the room, the event drew maximum attendance, with guests staying late into the evening. As seven notable brand ambassadors were on hand, all with different backgrounds and social media followings, this meant that sharing their experience afforded the event a wider audience reach than ever before, allowing more exposure of Garmin’s latest product range.
