Booking.com approached Make Events to help them produce a celebration for their 1,500 employees.
Our Venue Finding team proposed Victoria Warehouse for the event as it is a space that can be completely transformed, which enabled the Make Events team to produce a bespoke creative concept.
We worked to create all of the theming, décor, catering, drinks and production. We also managed the delegate registration. The event identity was Miami Boardwalk and we ensured this was a running through all of the theming. Our in-house graphics team created the branding for the event which was seen across the invites, food stalls, food packaging, dancefloor, pick ‘n’ mix stand and props.
We split the main space of Victoria Warehouse into sections with arcade games, bespoke roller disco props, vintage car photobooth, giant guess who and in the centre was a branded white acrylic dancefloor. We built bespoke recycling stations with basketball hoops and props that they could re-use for future events. A roaming brass band provided the music for the evening, weaving between the guests to involve them in their act.
