At Make Events we are passionate about food and drink and are encouraged to watch MasterChef to gain inspiration and knowledge.
After being introduced to this year’s MasterChef finalist, David Crichton, we conceived the idea of a collaboration to introduce him to our clients and our clients to his culinary mastery. Last night that idea came to fruition with the Ultimate Dining Experience by Make Events.
In true Make Events style, we created an immersive experience which started with invitations in a menu style with a bottle of truffle oil to whet the appetite.
The venue for the evening was the private dining room in the stunning Royal Exchange Theatre, a building we all walk past regularly but rarely explore. The Exchange Suite provided the perfect backdrop for an intimate dinner and its adjoining kitchen allowed David to introduce each course to the guests.
After following the MasterChef logos through the theatre, the guests we’re greeted with passion fruit martinis provided by Dirty Martini, David’s signature canapes and entertained by an acoustic guitarist during reception – courtesy of Bloomsbury Music.
Then began the main event. As guests entered the private dining room, they were surprised with personalised MasterChef aprons on their place settings. They were also joined by wine connoisseur, Joe Fattorini, who paired wine with each course and entertained the guests with his tales.
After dinner, the guests were invited back down to the lounge area for after dinner drinks and entertainment from a fabulous jazz trio.
