Make Events’ Six Favourite Magic Touches

At Make Events we know that the best events require obsessive attention to detail, impeccable logistical planning and precise organisation, but this is a given. What makes us different is our creative approach to our events, starting by walking through each event, experiencing the audience journey, making improvements and at every point using unparalleled creative thinking to overcome potential pitfalls.

By adding creative flourishes and our legendary magic touches we know that we can enhance the audience experience and leave them wanting more.

To celebrate Make Events entering their 6th year in business, we are sharing some of our favourite magic moments from the past 6 years. See below six ways we have added a little magic touch to our previous events.

1. Creative Table Centres
We created a ‘Make Believe’ theme  for Puma’s Christmas Party, which you can read about here. We wanted to make sure there were lots of branded Puma touches, including the table centres which were completely bespoke. These were fan assisted snow globes with Puma trainers in, like nothing anyone had ever seen before. Place names were clear baubles with golden stars and names written by a calligrapher, a personal touch for guests to take home with them.2. Bespoke aperitifs suitcases
For a party, we created bespoke suitcases for hostesses to serve drinks. We also served food in these later on in the evening for midnight munchies!3. Personalised Glass Coasters
For a party, we created bespoke clear acrylic coasters that can be also be placed on top of your glass to prevent it being cleared away whilst you’re up dancing. These were a great takeaway from the event and can be reused.4. Rose Gold Macaroons
We produced Space Zero’s office launch party, which you can read about here. The aim of the event was to inspire customers with their cutting edge office design. Make Events put forward a colour scheme of rose gold, as copper runs throughout their new offices.

We needed to ensure that the food was as unique as the office space itself and so guests were served a fork garden – which featured a grass floor with dry ice and rose gold forks stood upright in the grass topped with a canapé. Desserts included rose gold macaroons.5. Rosettes
For Betfred’s 50th Anniversary, a special logo had been designed for their national campaign. We wanted to ensure that this filtered through the event, but it still looked and felt like a party. We created rosettes for all the events team and catering staff to wear, so delegates knew who to speak to if they needed anything.6. Woolworth’s pick ‘n mix station
We created a 90’s style festival for Citation which you can read about here. Anyone with the munchies could graze at a Woolworths style pick ‘n mix station whilst the bar stocked nineties classics such as Hooch.

Make Events are the go-to corporate events agency for the North’s household names. Whether you want to educate, motivate or celebrate, we will create the ultimate experience.
