Corporate Christmas Ideas For Your End-Of-Year Event

Feeling a bit last minute and want some quick and easy fixes to jazz up your end-of-year event?

This is where we come in! As is often the case with planning a Christmas event, the secret is to create lots of opportunities to have fun. When your delegates are taking Instagram Stories to share what they’re up to, you know you’ve cracked it.

Just because it’s Christmas, doesn’t mean your event has to include excessive green and red theming or look like your nan’s in December 1989. So with that in mind, here are a few Christmas ideas to incorporate into your next end-of-the-year celebration.

Theming
We know that the Christmas party is the chance to kick your heels up and not have to engage in shop talk, but the bottom line is that we’re all here for the same reason. So why not think of some ways to engage your brand and messaging in a subtle way without it feeling like a corporate event. Branded baubles on the Christmas tree, product based table centres or bespoke designed Christmas wrapping paper incorporating the company logo works well in an understated way. Take a look at these branded sweets!

How about a masquerade ball with a twist? Add bright colours to masks, lights or neon to give your event a huge visual impact. A white Christmas also leaves lots of room for creativity. Immerse your venue in fake snow, dress your staffers in white. Think ballet dancers, arial silk performers, snow cones and marshmallows in indulgent white hot chocolate.

Entertainment
Christmas parties are always about having fun. Your delegates want to let loose at the end of the year with colleagues to celebrate successes in the business. This also can be a great team building opportunity.

Provide a cocktail bike where pedal power mixes your drink, a selfie mirror photo booth, a fire caricaturist and the essential DJ or band for when people hit the dance floor.

Think about content for the event and how the companies’ message can be portrayed. A summary of the companies highlights over the past 12 months or messages from brand ambassadors/team members overseas will surprise and delight.

Drinks
Cocktails and mocktails with green popping candy around the glass and cherries in prosecco give a nod to Christmas without being too over the top. Add warming flavours such as chai or eggnog to subtly get into the Christmas spirit.

How about a hot chocolate station? Add snowman marshmallows, candy canes, nuts and chocolate chips for guests to help themselves to.

Food
Christmas is the over eating event of the year. Think different. Turkey, cranberry and brie rolls? Proscuitto wrapped asparagus? Or how about a holiday cheeseboard with cranberries, grapes, ham and chutney for Christmas colouring?
