Stronger Together: John West Tuna Team Experience

CLIENT BRIEF

John West approached us to deliver a one-day business conference and evening celebration in Liverpool, bringing together colleagues from the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands. This would be the first major company-wide gathering post-pandemic, and the brief was to deliver key business updates, unveil new partnerships, and celebrate internal success—all in a less corporate, more inclusive and inspiring way. Attendees needed to leave feeling aligned with the new brand positioning, connected as one team, and proud to be part of John West’s Stronger Together movement.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

“We designed and delivered an engaging, interactive conference experience that broke away from traditional formats. Business updates were delivered by the Executive Team, and one of the day’s most powerful moments came with the announcement of John West’s new partnership with Paralympics GB—revealed through a live Q&A with Paralympic gold medallist Kadeena Cox OBE.

Delegates then moved through a series of energetic breakout sessions including a hurling demonstration and a high-energy wheelchair basketball activity, designed to bring people together through teamwork and a shared sense of fun. After closing remarks, delegates were surprised with an immersive drumming team-building session, which saw the whole group collaborate to create a musical performance.

The day transitioned into a vibrant evening celebration featuring an open bar, delicious street food, interactive giant games, and a live drumming band performance—all wrapped up with coordinated transport to take everyone back to the office.”
